(ANAHEIM, CA) - Edwin Jackson threw seven shutout innings and Carlos Quentin homered and drove in five runs as the Chicago White Sox blanked the Los Angeles Angels 8-0.
Gordon Beckham gave Chicago a 2-0 lead when he hit a two-run homer off Angels starter Ervin Santana in the second.
Quentin hit RBI doubles in the third and fifth before slamming a three-run blast in the seventh.
Alexei Ramirez added a solo homer in the seventh as the Sox won their third game in a row.
That was more than enough for Jackson, who allowed five hits to improve to 3-4.
Santana took the loss to drop to 1-4.
