(CHICAGO, IL) - Jake Peavy fired a three-hit shutout as the Chicago White Sox blanked the Cleveland Indians 1-0.
Peavy struck out eight and walked none to collect his first win since last June.
Justin Masterson was the tough-luck loser for the Indians.
Masterson allowed a sacrifice fly to Adam Dunn in the bottom of the first after giving up a leadoff double to Juan Pierre and a single to Omar Vizquel.
Masterson allowed five hits in his eight innings of work to fall to 5-2.
