(HOUSTON, TX) - Hunter Pence hit an RBI double with one out in the bottom of the ninth to give the Houston Astros a 4-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds to avoid a three-game series sweep.
Michael Bourn had a two-run single for the Astros, who snapped a four-game skid.
Houston jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Cincinnati came back with an RBI groundout by Brandon Phillips in the fourth.
The Reds tied the game in the seventh on back-to-back solo homers by Chris Heisey and Drew Stubbs.
Cincinnati saw its three-game winning streak come to an end.
