(SAO PAULO, BRAZIL) - Will Power survived the weather and damage to the rear suspension of his car to win the rain-delayed Sau Paulo Indy 300.
The race resumed Monday after being red-flagged after 15 laps Sunday due to heavy rain.
Power started from the pole and overcame a bent rear suspension when he touched the wall with his left rear tire early in the race.
Graham Rahal finished second, almost five seconds behind Power.
Ryan Briscoe, Power's teammate at Penske Racing, came in third.
Power takes over the points lead from Dario Franchitti, who finished fourth, as the Izod IndyCar Series begins practice at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 14th.
