(DURHAM, NC) - Justin Ruggiano’s first-inning home run was the difference as the Durham Bulls shut out the Indianapolis Indians 1-0 at Durham Athletic Park.
Alex Cobb and two relievers combined on the five-hit shutout.
Cobb went six innings, allowing four hits to move his record to 4-0.
Indianapolis starter Brian Burress allowed a run on four hits over seven innings to fall to 1-5.
The Bulls have won two in a row heading to this evening's series finale in Durham.
