(CHICAGO, IL) - The Houston Astros used four home runs to defeat the Chicago Cubs 12-7.
JR Towles put Houston up for good with a solo shot off Jeff Samardzija in the sixth inning.
Jeff Keppinger hit a three-run homer and drove in four while Clint Barmes and Hunter Pence hit back-to-back homers off Cubs starter Rodrigo Lopez in the fifth.
Carlos Pena hit a two-run home run and drove in three for Chicago as the Cubs lost left fielder Alfonso Soriano to a leg injury in the first inning.
With the win, the Astros snapped a three-game losing streak.
