(CHICAGO, IL) - The San Francisco Giants swept a doubleheader from the Chicago Cubs, winning the opener 13-7 and the nightcap 6-3.
Pat Burrell hit a two-run homer and drove in three while Aaron Rowand had a three-run double for San Francisco in the opener. Miguel Tejada also homered for the Giants in game one while Carlos Pena and Koyie hill went deep for the Cubs.
In game two, Nate Schierholtz and Brandon Crawford drove in two runs apiece for San Francisco to help offset a two-run homer from Cubs rookie Luis Montanez and a solo shot from Aramis Ramirez.
The sweep puts the Giants' winning streak at seven games.
