(CLEVELAND, OH) - The Cleveland Indians salvaged a win in their series with Colorado, edging the Rockies 4-3 at Progressive Field.
The Indians scored twice in the third inning with Grady Sizemore hitting an RBI single and Jack Hannahan scoring on a balk by Rockies starter Jason Hammel.
Ty Wigginton hit a solo homer in the fifth to draw the Rockies to within a run at 2-1, but Travis Hafner responded with a two-run shot off Hammel in the sixth.
Wigginton hit his second home run of the night, a two-run blast off Cleveland starter Josh Tomlin in the seventh.
Tomlin got the win to improve to 9-4 while Hammel falls to 4-7.
