(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Nate Spears hit a two-run home run to lead the Pawtucket Red Sox past the Indianapolis Indians 4-1.
Spears' shot off tribe starter Justin Wilson in the top of the second gave the Pawsox the lead for good.
John Bowker cut the Indians' deficit to 2-1 when he hit his fifth homer of the season in the third off Pawtucket starter Tony Pena. Matt Sheely gave the Red Sox a pair of insurance runs with a two-run single in the fourth.
Pena went five innings, allowing a run on five hits to move to 6-and-3. Wilson took the loss to fall to 9-and-5.
The Indians hit the road for a six-game trip beginning tonight in Syracuse.
