(SYRACUSE, NY) - Miles Durham hit a go-ahead two-run triple to cap Indianapolis’ four-run top of the fourth as the Indians beat the Syracuse Chiefs 7-3.
Durham added an RBI single in the seventh to finish with three runs batted in. Brian Friday hit a pair of solo homers as the Tribe halted a two-game skid.
Matt Antonelli drove in a pair of runs for Syracuse with Tug Hulett hitting a solo homer as the Chiefs had their three-game winning streak snapped.
Game three of the four-game series is tonight in Syracuse.
