(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Cliff Lee fired a complete-game six-hitter as the Philadelphia Phillies blanked the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0.
Jimmy Rollins put the Phillies on top when he hit a solo home run off St. Louis starter Kyle Lohse in the fourth inning.
Ryan Howard came up two batters later and hammered an opposite-field two-run shot off Lohse to put Philadelphia up 3-0.
That was more than enough for Lee, who walked one and struck out three to record his second-straight shutout and improve to 8-5 on the season.
Lohse took the loss to drop to 7-4.
