(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Todd Redmond and three relievers combined on a six-hit shutout as the Gwinnett Braves blanked the Indianapolis Indians 2-0.
Redmond allowed three hits over six innings to improve to 5-and-6.
Mauro Gomez gave the Braves the only run they would need with an RBI single in the first.
Dan Nelson added a sacrifice fly in the seventh. Indianapolis starter Brad Lincoln allowed a run on five hits over his six innings of work and takes the loss, dropping to 5-6.
The four-game series concludes this evening at Victory Field.
