(MILWAUKEE, WI) - The Milwaukee Brewers kept pace in the NL Central race, getting past the Chicago Cubs 3-2.
All of the scoring took place in the first inning with the Cubs jumping out to a 2-0 lead on Aramis Ramirez' 19th home run of the season.
The Brewers came back in the bottom of the first with Ryan Braun's RBI double cutting the Chicago lead to 2-1.
Casey McGehee put Milwaukee up to stay with a two-run triple.
Milwaukee starter Chris Narveson pitched five innings to get the win and improve to 7-6.
Cubs starter Ryan Dempster took the loss, falling to 7-8 as Chicago had its three-game winning streak snapped.
