(CINCINNATI, OH) - Jason Pridie hit a go-ahead two-run double in the top of the sixth inning as the New York Mets defeated the Cincinnati Reds 8-6.
The Mets scored a pair of unearned runs off Reds starter Johnny Cueto in the first and built a 4-0 lead.
Cincinnati got a run back in the fourth before taking a 5-4 lead in the fifth thanks to a two-run double by Edgar Renteria and a two-run homer from Joey Votto.
Pridie's double the following inning put New York up to stay with the Mets getting two more runs in the seventh on RBI singles by Daniel Murphy and Angel Pagan.
Mets starter Jonathan Niese got the win to move to 10-8 while Cueto takes the loss to drop to 6-4.
