(ATLANTA, GA) - In women’s pro basketball yesterday, the Indiana Fever are limping into the all-star break following an 84-74 loss at Atlanta.
The Fever, now 2-4 all time at Philips Arena, were often sluggish during the afternoon matinee against the dream.
While getting large contributions from their starters, the Dream's bench outscored the Fever's, 38-14.
Tamika Catchings led all scorers with 22-points and Erin Phillips went 3-4 behind the three point line and finished with 21.
Katie Douglas and Catchings will start for the Eastern Conference in Saturday night's all star game. Douglas finished with four points yesterday on 1-8 shooting.
The Fever have lost three consecutive games and are now tied with Connecticut for first place in the Eastern Conference.
Indiana can regain momentum heading into the break by beating Chicago tomorrow night.
