(PHOENIX, AZ) - The National League made it two All-Star Game wins in a row, defeating the American League 5-1 at Chase Field in Phoenix.
The AL got on the scoreboard in the top of the fourth when Boston's Adrian Gonzalez hit a solo home run off the Phillies' Cliff Lee.
The National League took the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth with Prince Fielder's three-run blast off the Texas Rangers' CJ Wilson.
The National League added a run in the fifth on an RBI single by the dodgers' Andre Ethier and scored the final run in the seventh on a ground-rule double by San Francisco's Pablo Sandoval.
Washington's Tyler Clippard got the win with Wilson taking the loss and the Giants' Brian Wilson picking up the save.
Fielder was named the game's Most Valuable Player as the NL gains home field advantage for the World Series in October.
