(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - NASCAR President Mike Helton is in Indianapolis for a news conference this afternoon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Helton and Speedway CEO Jeff Belskus will be joined by Grand-Am President Tom Bledsoe to discuss the 2012 Brickyard 400 weekend.
There has been reports that a Grand-Am Rolex Series race would be added to next year's Brickyard weekend with a three-hour sports car race being run on the speedway's road course.
ESPN.com reports that the NASCAR Nationwide Series Race, which is currently held at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, will be moved to the Speedway oval in 2012.
