(CLEVELAND, OH) - Ervin Santana threw a no-hitter as the Los Angeles Angels beat the Cleveland Indians 3-1.
Santana needed 105 pitches to complete the no-hitter, walking one and striking out ten.
Cleveland scored its lone run in the first when Ezequiel Cabrera reached on an error, stole second, advanced to third on a groundout and scored on a Santana wild pitch.
The Angels tied the game on Mike Trout's sacrifice fly in the fifth and took the lead in the sixth when Torii Hunter scored on a passed ball.
Los Angeles got an insurance run in the ninth on a Peter Bourjos RBI single.
It is Santana's first career no-hitter and the ninth in the history of the Angels franchise.
