(NEW YORK, NY) - Commissioner Roger Goodell, NFL Players Association Executive Director Demaurice Smith and several players and owners are back at the negotiating table as they try to end the NFL lockout.
The two sides are expected to negotiate the rest of this week after lawyers for the two sides spent the weekend and Monday working out the language for a new collective bargaining agreement.
Several reports say the sides are getting closer to a deal, with a rookie wage scale, free agency requirements and benefits for retired players being the main sticking points.
