(CINCINNATI, OH) - Mike Pelfrey threw a complete game as the New York Mets made it three-straight wins in their series in Cincinnati, beating the Reds 8-2.
Angel Pagan put New York up to stay with a two-run double in the top of the first.
David Wright hit a three-run home run and Lucas Duda added a solo shot.
Pelfrey allowed two earned runs on seven hits, walking none while striking out three to collect his second complete game of the year and improve to 6-9.
Joey Votto hit a solo homer for the Reds, his 15th of the year.
Cincinnati starter Bronson Arroyo took the loss to fall to 7-9.
