(PITTSBURGH, PA) - The upstart Pittsburgh Pirates are back in first after beating the St. Louis Cardinals in ten innings, 4-3.
Chase d'Arnaud drove-in the winning run after punching the ball into centerfield.
Colby Rasmus fielded the ball and did not make a good throw to home, allowing the go-ahead run to score.
Rasmus put the Cardinals ahead in the sixth inning when he homered to right field.
The Pirates pulled even again after Steve Pearce grounded into a bases loaded-double play.
Kyle Loshe allowed two runs in five innings for the Cardinals.
