(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Indianapolis Indians ran their winning streak to four games with a 7-4 win over the Columbus Clippers.
John Bowker and Steve Pearce hit solo home runs as six Indians drove in one run apiece.
Tribe starter Rudy Owens pitched into the sixth inning, allowing two runs on five hits while striking out seven to improve to 7-6.
Jason Donald drove in two runs for Columbus as the Clippers dropped their fourth game in a row.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight in Columbus.
