(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - NASCAR is in Indianapolis this weekend for Sunday’s Brickyard 400.
The Sprint Cup cars will take to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval on Friday for two practices.
There is a change in the traditional qualifying schedule on Saturday.
In the past, qualifying would start at ten o'clock Indianapolis time followed by final practice.
This year, the final practice will get underway at 10am with qualifying now beginning at two o'clock.
The 18th annual Brickyard 400 will take place on Sunday afternoon.
Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont will also play host to three days of racing action.
Speedweek begins on Thursday night with the USAC National Midget Series and Silver Crown Series running along with ARCA.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races at LOR on Friday night with the NASCAR Nationwide Series running on Saturday night.
This will be the final year for the Nationwide Series race at Lucas Oil Raceway.
Next year, that race will be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
