(WOLFSBURG, GERMANY) - The US Women’s Soccer team concludes group play today when they play Sweden at the FIFA World Cup in Germany.
The Americans have already clinched a spot the quarterfinals and will win Group C with a win or a tie against the Swedes.
Winning the group could be key to Team USA as a victory would help them avoid facing a quarterfinal matchup against powerful Brazil.
A pair of Indianapolis natives, Lauren Cheney and Lori Lindsey, play for the United States as well as former Notre Dame star Shannon Boxx.
