(ANAHEIM, CA) - Peter Bourjos’ RBI single with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Los Angeles Angels a 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox.
Torii hunter drove in two runs for LA with Howie Kendrick adding a solo home run and scoring twice as the Angels ran their winning streak to five games.
Gordon Beckham had an RBI double with Alejandro De Aza, Juan Pierre and Paul Konerko hitting RBI singles.
With the loss, the Sox fall six and-a-half games behind first-place Detroit and remain a half-game behind second-place Cleveland in the AL Central.
