(SPRINGFIELD, MA) - Former Indiana Pacer Chris Mullin will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame tonight in Springfield, Massachusetts.
While Mullin had his best years with the Golden State Warriors, he did spend three productive seasons with the Pacers after being acquired in a 1997 trade for Erick Dampier and Duane Ferrell.
During Mullin's three seasons in Indiana, the Pacers reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 1998 and 1999 before losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2000 NBA Finals.
Joining Mullin in the hall of fame class of 2011 is long time Stanford women's coach Tara Vanderveer, who played collegiately for the Indiana Hoosiers.
