(CLEVELAND, OH) - The Cleveland Indians split a doubleheader with Seattle, beating the Mariners 7-5 in the opener and losing 12-7 in the nightcap.
Shin Soo-Choo hit a walk-off, three run homer off Mariners closer Brandon League to end game one.
Choo's heroics came after Seattle rookie Trayvon Robinson had given the M's a 5-4 lead with a two-run double off Indians closer Chris Perez in the top of the ninth.
The Mariners scored five runs in the top of the third and five runs in the top of the fourth as they built a big lead in game two.
Dustin Ackley drove in three runs with Mike Carp adding a two-run homer for Seattle.
