(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Jordy Mercer drove home the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the seventh inning as the Indianapolis Indians edged the Toledo Mud Hens 4-3 at Victory Field.
Matt Hague had a pair of RBI singles and Josh Harrison hit a run-scoring double for the Tribe won for the fifth time in their last seven games.
Clete Thomas had a two-run triple and Argenis Diaz hit an RBI single for the Mud Hens.
Game two of the four-game series is tonight in Indianapolis.
