(CHICAGO, IL) - Freddie Freeman and Dan Uggla homered as the Atlanta Braves won their fifth game in a row, blanking the Chicago Cubs 3-0.
Braves starter Jair Jurrjens pitched into the seventh inning, allowing eight hits to improve to 13-5.
The Atlanta bullpen allowed one hit over the final two and two-thirds innings with Johnny Venters picking up his fifth save.
Ryan Dempster allowed all three Atlanta runs in his six innings of work and took the loss, dropping to 10-9.
