(CHICAGO, IL) - Matt LaPorta homered and Kosuke Fukudome drove in the go-ahead run as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago White Sox 4-2 at US Cellular Field.
Paul Konerko gave the Sox a 1-0 lead in the third when he hit his 28th home run of the season off Cleveland starter Justin Masterson.
LaPorta's two-run shot in the fourth gave the Indians a 2-1 lead.
Chicago tied it in the bottom of the inning on an r-b-i single by Tyler Flowers.
Fukudome's triple drove home Shin-Soo Choo with the eventual game-winner in the sixth.
Fukudome would come around and score when Asdrubal Cabrera drew a bases-loaded walk.
Masterson picked up the win to improve to 10-7.
Chicago starter Phil Humber left the game in the second after being struck in the head by a line drive off the bat of Fukudome.
Humber walked off the mound under his own power.
