(ATLANTA, GA) - Sancho Lyttle hit a ten-foot jumper with nine-tenths of a second remaining to give the Atlanta Dream a 92-90 win over the Indiana Fever.
The game was close throughout with neither team building more than a six-point lead.
Atlanta's Angel McCaughtry led all scorers with 28 points with Armintie Price adding 16 points and Lyttle finishing with 14 points and eleven rebounds.
Erin Phillips led the Fever with 21 points with Tamika Catchings scoring 20 and Katie Douglas adding 15 as Indiana falls to 19-10.
Despite the loss, the Fever did clinch a playoff berth thanks to Chicago's loss against New York.
They maintain their game and-a-half lead over second-place Connecticut in the WNBA's Eastern Conference.
The Sun also lost, falling in San Antonio 78-66.
The Dream are in fourth place in the East, three and-a-half games behind Indiana thanks to their back-to-back wins over the Fever.
Atlanta extended their lead over fifth-place Chicago to two and-a-half games for the fourth and final playoff berth in the East.
Indiana's three-game road trip continues Friday night in Connecticut.
