(MILWAUKEE, WI) - Casey McGehee hit three home runs and drove in five as the Milwaukee Brewers topped the St. Louis Cardinals 10-5 to extend their lead in the NL Central.
McGehee hit two-run homers in the first and third innings and added a solo shot in the seventh.
Corey Hart hit a solo homer and drove in two as the Brewers extend their lead over the Redbirds in the central to three and-a-half games.
Rafael Furcal had a big day at the plate for St. Louis, hammering a three-run home run off Brewers starter Randy Wolf and driving in four.
Wolf got the win to improve to 8-8 while Edwin Jackson took the loss in his Cardinals debut as he drops to 8-8.
