(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Casey McGehee drove home the go-ahead run with a tenth-inning double as the Milwaukee Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals 5-3.
Corey Hart hit a two-run home run in the third to give Milwaukee the early lead.
St. Louis clawed back, scoring a pair runs in the sixth on RBI singles by David Freese and Gerald Laird.
The game was tied at three in the top of the tenth when McGehee's one-out double off St. Louis reliever Octavio Dotel scored Nyjer Morgan with the go-ahead run.
Yuniesky Betancourt would add a sacrifice fly as the Brewers extend their lead in the NL Central to four games over the second-place Cardinals.
