(CINCINNATI, OH) - Edgar Renteria, Jay Bruce and Joey Votto hit solo home runs as the Cincinnati Reds got past the Colorado Rockies 3-2 to halt a two-game skid.
Renteria and Bruce homered off Colorado starter Kevin Millwood in the fourth inning put the Reds up 2-0.
The Rockies got one run back in the fifth on an RBI single by Dexter Fowler and tied the game in the sixth when Troy Tulowitzki hit a solo blast off Cincinnati starter Mike Leake.
Votto's solo shot off Millwood in the sixth was the game-winner.
Leake went seven innings, allowing three runs on six hits to improve to 10-7.
Millwood, who was making his first start after spending this season in the minors, falls to 0-1.
