(HOUSTON, TX) - Homer Bailey threw eight solid innings as the Cincinnati Reds beat the Houston Astros 5-1.
All of the runs in the game were scored in the fifth inning.
Ramon Hernandez put Cincinnati on the board with an RBI double and Edgar Renteria followed three batters later with a grand slam.
Luis Durango accounted for the lone Houston run with an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth.
Bailey allowed the one run on five hits to get the win, improving to 6-5.
Wandy Rodriguez took the loss for Houston, falling to 7-8.
