(CINCINNATI, OH) - Carlos Gonzalez’ two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning put Colorado up to stay as the Rockies outslugged the Cincinnati Reds 10-7.
Gonzalez' shot off Bill Bray was the final homer on a night that saw seven baseballs fly over the wall at Great American Ball Park.
Seth Smith hit a pair of two-run shots for Colorado with Todd Helton also hitting a two-run homer.
Jay Bruce hit a three-run homer for Cincinnati with Drew Stubbs hammering a two-run blast and Brandon Phillips adding a pinch-hit solo shot as the Reds lost for the fifth time in their last seven games.
