(BOSTON, MA) - Carlos Santana hit a two-run home run and drove in three as the Cleveland Indians defeated the Boston Red Sox 7-3 to split the four-game series.
Santana's RBI single in third gave Cleveland a 3-2 lead, but Josh Reddick tied the game with a solo shot off Indians starter Justin Masterson in the fourth.
Santana's two-run blast off Boston reliever Franklin Morales put Cleveland up for good.
Masterson, who started his major league career with the Red Sox, allowed three runs on five hits in his six innings of work while striking out nine to improve to 9-7.
