(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) - Alfonso Soriano homered for the second-straight night as the Chicago Cubs defeated the San Francisco Giants 5-2.
Soriano hit a tape-measure shot off Giants starter Ryan Vogelsong in the second inning and added an RBI single in the third.
Darwin Barney hit a sacrifice fly in the third and Geovany Soto added a two-run double in the seventh as Chicago has taken the first two games of the series.
Jeff Keppinger drove in both San Francisco runs with a double in the fifth and a single in the seventh.
Matt Garza pitched into the seventh inning to pick up the win for the Cubs, moving to 7-10 on the season.
Vogelsong took the loss, dropping to 10-5.
