(TOLEDO, OH) - Max St. Pierre’s RBI single in the bottom of the seventh drove home the go-ahead run as the Toledo Mud Hens got past the Indianapolis Indians 4-2 in Toledo.
The Tribe took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first on RBI doubles by Jordy Mercer and Josh Harrison.
Toledo tied it in the second inning when Brandon Inge slammed a two-run homer off tribe starter Ross Ohlendorf.
That was all of the scoring until the seventh.
Following St. Pierre's go-ahead hit, Will Rhymes drove home an insurance run with a squeeze bunt. With the win, Toledo gains a split of the two-game series.
The Indians head on to Columbus to open a two-game set with the Clippers tonight.
