(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - In an effort to clear more room under the salary cap, the Indianapolis Colts released cornerback Kelvin Haden over the weekend.
Hayden put the finishing touches on the Colts Superbowl 41 victory after he intercepted a pass by Chicago Bears quarterback Rex Grossman late in the game and returned it 56-yards for a touchdown.
In other Colts personnel decisions, the team was able to retain offensive tackle Ryan Diem after he agreed to take a pay cut.
The defensive line was solidified after tackles Antonio Johnson and Eric Foster were re-signed.
