(UNDATED) - Purdue and Notre Dame renew hostilities Saturday night at Ross-Ade Stadium. The Boilermakers are 2-1 and were off last week.
The Fighting Irish improved to 2-2 with their 15-12 win at Pittsburgh.
Notre Dame has won 20 of the last 25 games in the series and eight of the last twelve games played in West Lafayette.
The Indiana Hoosiers open Big Ten play Saturday when they welcome Joe Paterno's Penn State Nittany Lions to Memorial Stadium.
The Hoosiers are 1-3 and did not look good until late in their 24-21 loss at North Texas last Saturday night.
Penn State is 3-1 and is coming off a 34-6 win over Eastern Michigan at home last weekend.
IU has never beaten Penn State as the Lions have rolled to a 14-0 mark against the Hoosiers since joining the Big Ten in 1993.
Tomorrow's game will be Paterno's 700th as a member of the Penn State coaching staff.
The Ball State Cardinals hit the road to take on number-one Oklahoma on Saturday night.
The Cardinals 3-1 and are coming off a 48-21 win over Army last Saturday in Muncie.
The Sooners are 3-0 and knocked off Missouri 38-28 last Saturday in Norman.
This will be the first meeting for Ball State and Oklahoma in football.
