(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers are holding a four-day mini camp in Indianapolis this week, according to an internet report.
The Indianapolis Star reported on its website Tuesday that the players are trying to be as prepared as they can be when the current lockout ends.
Training camp is scheduled to begin on October 3rd and the regular season starts November 2nd.
Talks on a new collective bargaining agreement have not engendered confidence that either will start on time.
Pacers forward Danny Granger says he is "90-percent sure" that the season will not begin on time.
Despite the pessimism, most of the Pacers are maintaining their normal offseason workout schedules.
