(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago White Sox scored seven runs in the seventh inning to defeat the Cleveland Indians 8-1.
Jim Thome put Cleveland on top 1-0 with an RBI single in the first.
The Sox tied it on a solo home run by Brent Morel in the third.
Morel struck again in the seventh, hammering a go-ahead, three-run shot to give Chicago the lead for good.
Paul Konerko capped the seventh inning rally with a grand slam.
The White Sox pull eight and-a-half games behind idle Detroit in the AL Central while the Indians are now ten games behind the first-place Tigers.
