(CINCINNATI, OH) - Cliff Lee fell one out shy of a complete game but picked up his 15th win as the Philadelphia Phillies blanked the Cincinnati Reds 3-0.
Lee allowed six hits, walked one and struck out seven over eight and two-thirds innings to move to 15-7.
Lee left with the bases loaded and Ryan Madsen came in to retire pinch-hitter Yonder Alonso on a foul pop to third base to end the game and collect his 25th save.
Hunter Pence hit a solo homer for Philadelphia, his 18th of the year.
Reds starter Dontrelle Willis fell to 0-4 as he allowed three runs on five hits with five walks and six strikeouts in his six and two-thirds innings of work.
The Phillies have won the first three games of the four-game series.
