(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - The Chicago White Sox moved back into second place in the AL Central with a 3-0 win over the woeful Minnesota Twins.
Jake Peavy went six and-a-third innings, allowing four hits and two walks while striking out nine to even his record at 7-7.
Four relievers came in to preserve the shutout.
Alex Rios hit a solo home run with Alejandre De Aza and Brent Morel adding RBI singles as the sox won their third game in a row.
The Twins have dropped five straight.
Chicago trails first-place Detroit by eight games in the Central and are now a half-game ahead of third-place Cleveland.
