(KANSAS CITY, MO) - The Kansas City Royals made it five wins in a row with their 7-2 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
Billy Butler hit a three-run homer, Melky Cabrera added a solo shot and Yamaico Navarro drove in a pair of runs for the royals.
Jeff Francis went six innings, allowing two runs on eight hits to improve to 6-16.
Alexei Ramirez and Tyler Flowers drove in Chicago's two runs with sacrifice flies as the Sox have lost five in a row.
The White Sox have been eliminated in the AL Central race and they will be knocked out of the wild card race with either another loss or Boston's next win.
