(ST. LOUIS, MO) - The St. Louis Cardinals and the Philadelphia Phillies square off in game three of their National League Division Series late this afternoon at Busch Stadium.
The best-of-five series is tied at a game apiece after the teams split the first two games in Philadelphia.
St. Louis used six relievers in Sunday's night's 5-4 Cardinals win in game two and the team needed Monday's off day to rest the bullpen.
Jaime Garcia will start today's game for the Redbirds.
Garcia went 13-7 with a 3.56 earned run average during the regular season.
The Phillies counter with Cole Hamels, who went 14-9 with a 2.79 ERA in 2011.
St. Louis is still expected to be without slugging outfielder Matt Holliday.
Holliday has missed the first two games of the series due to an inflamed tendon on his right middle finger.
Allen Craig has filled in for Holliday in the outfield with Lance Berkman taking Holliday's cleanup spot in the batting order.
Game four is scheduled for Wednesday night in St. Louis.
