(TALLADEGA, AL) - NASCAR will honor fallen IndyCar series driver Dan Wheldon at this weekend’s Camping World Truck Series and Sprint Cup races at Talladega.
A moment of silence for Wheldon, who was killed in a racing accident at Las Vegas Motor Speedway last Sunday, will be held before the start of both races.
Teams will also be provided a decal honoring Whledon to place on their cars.
The decal is of the Lionheart Knight image that Wheldon wore on the back of his helmets.
Funeral services for Wheldon will be held saturday in St. Petersburg, Florida and a memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
