(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts return to practice this afternoon as they begin preparing for Sunday afternoon’s game with the Bengals in Cincinnati.
The Colts dropped to 0-5 for the first time in 14 years with their 28-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday in Indianapolis.
The Bengals are 3-2 and are coming off back-to-back wins over Jacksonville and Buffalo.
The Colts have won their last seven regular-season meetings with Cincinnati.
The Colts should have a clearer picture of their injury situation when they return to practice later today.
The key question marks are starting running back Joseph Addai and starting cornerback Jarraud Powers.
Both Addai and Powers left last Sunday's loss to the Chiefs with hamstring injuries.
One clue to Addai's status may be the Colts' re-signing running back Darren Evans off the practice squad.
Starting offensive linemen Anthony Castonzo and Ryan Diem missed the Kansas City game with ankle injuries.
Diem was believed to be close to returning last week.
The Colts announced some roster moves on tuesday including the re-signing of Evans.
To make room for Evans on the roster, the Colts placed offensive lineman Michael Toudouze on waivers.
Evans, an Indianapolis native, was one of the Colts' final cuts before the regular season and has been on the team's practice squad.
Toudouze was re-signed last week to provide some depth for the Colts' banged-up offensive line.
He was also one of the Colts final cuts before the regular season.
The team also announced that they have waived Kade Weston from the practice squad and have waived Cornelius Brown from the injured reserve list.
