(CHARLOTTE, NC) - NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick is back in North Carolina after being injured when a team plane ran off a runway Monday in Key West, Florida.
Hendrick suffered a broken rib and a broken clavicle in the accident.
His wife, Linda, had minor cuts and bruises.
The two pilots were also evaluated and released from the Lower Keys Medical Center and have since returned to North Carolina.
The plane, which is jointly owned by Hendrick Motorsports and Jimmie Johnson Racing, remains in Key West.
Johnson says he normally uses the plane to fly to races with his family.
